# 3D Print Parts

3D print all the components required for later guides.

Get everything required for the rest of the guides 3D Printed! This step takes the longest, but will make you breeze through the rest of the tasks.

## Materials

- PLA Filament (240g) ×1
- PETG Filament (55g) ×1

## Step 1: Download 3D Print File

- Download this .3mf file that contains all of the 3D Prints you will need to build the trackers.

- You will need **~233g** of PLA Filament, and **~53g** of PETG Filament. You can print everything in PLA without issue, but we do recommend PETG for the Tracker Strap Mounts for an extra secure fit.

- We suggest you print each part with different colors like we have shown here, but you can print all pieces in the same color. If printing with multiple colors you will need the following amounts of filament for each part/plate: **Tracker Cases:** 80g **Tracker Switches:** 1.5g **Tracker Case Tops:** 42g (Base), 7g (Text) **Charging Dock:** 102g **Tracker Mounts:** 53g (**PETG Recommended**, PLA Okay)

## Step 2: Tracker Cases (2.5 hours)

- Print out Plate 1 which has a full set of cases. This will take ~2.5 hours.

- You will need to print out 1 tracker case for each tracker.

- **Note:** **79g of PLA filament**

## Step 3: Power Switches (12 min)

- Print out Plate 2 which has a set of power switches. This will take **~12 min**.

- **Note:** **1.5g of PLA filament**

## Step 4: Tracker Lids/Labels (2 hours)

- Print out Plate 3 which has a set of 10 labels for you to choose from. This will take 2 hours to print.

- This Multi-Color print only has **a single color swap**, making it efficient and simple to print. You can print this with an AMS or even use a single color printer. Single color printers will pause halfway through the print for you to switch the filament from the base color over to the label color, then will resume the print!

- **Note:** **Base Color PLA Filament:** 42g **Label Color PLA Filament:** 7g

## Step 5: Charging Dock Case (2.5 hours)

- Print out Plate 4 which has the parts for the Charging Dock. This will take roughly 2.5 hours.

- **Note:** **102g of PLA Filament**

## Step 6: Tracker Mounts for Straps (1.5 hours)

- Print out Plate 5 which has a set of Slide Mounts for you to attach to your Straps. This will take 1.5 hours.

- **Note:** **53g of PETG Filament**

- **We highly recommend you print these using PETG filament.** You **can** alternatively print these with PLA if you **do not** have access to PETG but there is a chance of the mounts weakening after a few hundred sessions of repeated use.

## Step 7: (Optional) DIY Strap Hardware

- **Note:** This step is **Optional** and you **only** need these parts if you are making your own DIY straps from scratch!

- Download the .3mf file below and print out a set of DIY Strap Hardware. It includes all the hardware needed for a full set of 8 straps (including Chest Harness).

- **Note:** This takes ~2 hours to print. **53g of PLA Filament**

## Step 8: 3D Printing Done!

- You are now done printing out all the parts you will need for the rest of the guide! This is the slowest guide, but you are now done!
